I have no ODC in my base location. And they haven't allocated seats. QVA

I have no ODC in my base location. And they haven't allocated seats and 100% variable pay is deducted. In this case, how do I get back the variable pay I deserve. 🥲🥲🥲🥲

You could have raised WFO exception

I did raise. But I was conveyed over email that they will approve. But the request still remains unapproved. I think I should have followed up more instead of trusting them. :(

Well, this QVA is something which is part of CTC which company initially promised to give you based on the performance of the Unit. Then they strategically say the unit is not doing well( I dont know how they are measuring it or using what matrix, there is no place where we can see it before its credited.) and credit some random amount based on their wish.

Next, it was really unethical to link the attendence and QVA, because that will totally go aganist the initial offer letter which everyone signed. TCS is a professional institution, not some underground gang who can change the policy whevever they want and however they want and everyone should just be quiet and follow that. What if they change notice period into 6 months one day? What if they change working hours to 14 hours a day?

So this linking attendence and QVA is a bad move, what employees can do it leave the company or stop working extra hours. Because everyone is working for money, even the CEO. Its just plain stupid to force the attendance when there are people working all across globe at different time zones.

I guess if you don't have ODC in base location HRs are raising WFH request in backend for entire quarter. It happens with few.

Ask HR or your manager to raise WFO exception, it is not your problem that your project does not have ODC and you shouldn’t get impacted financially for that! Talk to your manager immediately!!

Same with me, i did not get any qva even if there is no odc for me and project manager approval was also there. Exception from HR was not approved even on Project manager approval. I have written a harsh email to the project manager if nothing positive will leave the account and will look for outside also.

You can choose anyone of the below: 1)Relocate to a location where your project is having odc 2) Work from cafeteria/common place in your current location 3) Forget about your QVA
