I have no friends :(

All my friends went to different cities for college and post college... All college friends are in different cities... No good friend is left in my hometown.... GF is in her hometown....

Feeling very bored staying at home. College is finished, joining is in July. Feeling very lonely and unemployed/unproductive. I can't talk with my parents all day.... What to do.

Bro, enjoy your time by watching movies, exploring out your hometown, reading books or you can join any of your favourite sport. Once you start working, you'll miss all of these.

I’ve been through long phases of life without real friends or a partner. After school, I lost touch with old friends. College didn’t help much — couldn’t build any lasting bonds. I assumed I’d find friends at work, but soon realised that colleagues are rarely true companions. Relationships? Never really happened. In my city, it feels like people chase shallow trends — bikes, flashiness, fake swagger — and I never fit into that scene. On top of that, I’ve lived alone for years, with my parents far away in a village.

It’s tough — having no one to talk to, no one to hang out with, and carrying everything by yourself. But here's what I’ve learned: you have to create meaning when life doesn't hand it to you. I threw myself into work, got lost in music and movies, picked up hobbies, and kept reading. I even connected with a local Buddhist group and some fellow vegans — people who share values, not just vibes.

So if you’re feeling alone, know that it’s okay to feel that way — but don’t stop trying to build something real. Try new spaces, explore interests, and above all, stay true to who you are. Sometimes the world takes time to catch up to your kind of people.
