If you complete 2 years, and have good ratings for both years, you can become an Associate upon manager's approval. But you can expect to become that in October (because this happens quarterly, and July is in the 3rd quarter), both role wise, and salary wise.

You might get promoted in the October cycle. Previously you just needed a 3 or above year end rating. But now they have introduced other criteria also, your utilisation percentage should be above 50 and development plan completion above 90.
Also Your HM's approval and then BU's approval.

And all these criteria totally depend on them. Sometimes they ignore it and sometimes they are very strict.
