They will release you but you will be on the bench. Within 45 days you need to be tagged to another project. If not then LOP will start. Check there are projects available before requesting for release.

Thanks a lot for responding and one more question I am in wilp(work integrated learning program) where we work for 5 days 1 day MTech class in a week ,, still Lop applies to me after 45 days?
