Trending @Cognizant; I have been on bench for almost a year!

I have joined Cognizant in the beginning of 2023, I completed my training and courses and was allotted a project for which I failed my first interview so I was to remain on bench.

I didn’t get any other calls and have been sitting free for almost a year. I have been receiving monthly salary and additional bonuses too.

Nobody seemed to be interested in knowing why I’m not working. How long will this bench period not affect me? My role is SAP consultant. What should I do and do I need to be concerned about getting laid off ?

And nobody say they are jealous of me!
