If you are gonna sincerely pursue wings2, pick a role that suits your current career path (which also aligns with your project, because for pp4 you have to go to your supervisor) If you are currently in R1 level, pick an R2 level technical role.

PP4 is role deployment which is done by your supervisor. You have to be in that role for 90 days without any gap in allocation.

Only then you will get the rewards of PP4.

Eg. If you choose a role like scrum master and if your project has absolutely no need for a scrum master, your manager may refuse to deploy you. It is best to discuss with your supervisor about the role you are choosing before you start the journey.
