I have 5months PF overlap, please suggest what I can do??

I got an offer from X company in oct 2021 and after joining X, after one week got another offer from a good MNC. As I am at the career beginning stage and not aware of pf overlap and all I moved to that MNC in the same month and continued for 4 years. I have asked for a release from the X company since onboarding but they delayed and at last I resigned in the X company in dec 2021 and released on Mar 2022. But due to the delay in exit of X there is a pf overlap for 5 months (oct-mar) in both companies. Will it cause career end. I want to switch the company with 4 YOE but recently got rejected by TCS bcz of this issue even though I have cleared all rounds. Is there any solution to overcome this issue.

Yeah, basically larger companies will flag this and reject you, even one month is a big problem, with 5 months they gonna think you broke the rules, try with start-ups or mid level mnc’s. They will ask and u gotta explain that properly.

Stop the cap bro. If the date of exit is updated properly then it isn't an issue.

Sorry for the delay! If you still need help, I dealt with this too. Despite all the advice on YouTube, the only real fix is to:

  1. Contact your previous employer to correct the exit date.
  2. Submit a Joint Declaration form to the EPFO for approval. It’s a bit of a process, but it’s the only reliable solution.
