I have 3 yrs of ex as Java dev, being a mechanical engg I dont know anything about DSA. What are the possible way out if continued in IT?

This mentality of not knowing DSA just because you are a mechanical engg needs to be changed first. We literally have a covid batch who didn't go to college and are still cracking MNC's crazily. So, at this point learning DSA is more of a self discipline thing and has nothing to do with a degree. If you don't want to learn DSA, then you can try testing/QA.

Sure, I thought learning DSA at this point may not make sense. Also if I try to search on YouTube about these things I just don't get my answers. Also please can you tell me whether learning System design is equally important? Or more important for being an experienced engineer? Your answer helps, thank you.
