Trending @Cognizant; I have 2 years of experience in cognizant, I'm expecting a salary hike in August but I'm not sure if I'll be promoted or not. Can I ask for a salary hike now? Considering my good performance.

Everyone will get in August only . No one is going to get before August no matter what. Completing 2 years in Cognizant makes you eligible for promotion but it is just step 1 , step 2 is on your manager whether they will consider you for your promotion or not .

If you have completed your 2 years and eligible for promotion then it will be promote you from 1st july . And promotion salary will create on July month end . Aug salary concept is only for hike . Promotion is exception in this case .

For promotion you should have complete below criteria

1. Utilization should more than 50
2. Go perform should 100
3. Rating should more than 2

Hi @Ironman300, I fit in the eligible criteria however my manager is saying that he didn't got promotion letter for June/July. Is this possible or he's just avoiding me?

If your YEA rating was good enough, you will get appraised only in August. Promotions mostly happen if your rating is 5
