I have question regarding the percentage of hike and arrears.

I have completed my first anniversary in TCS, this is the following FY. In the anniversary letter there is no hike but mentioned " Your annual compensation will be reviewed in the next Annual appraisal", I see that compensation is not included for the anniversary.

My question is TCS does consider anniversary in the FY? Please let me know if any one have some idea on this.
