I hate calls,stand-ups freakin hate them to the core.
These meetings and stand ups are such big timewasters seriously, why can't things work out in chat? People just want to get on a call for small minor issues and that wastes my productivity time and I get tired by going onto these early morning. Why can't we discuss tickets in chat or only have calls for some serious discussion.
It's worser when it's daily like for me it ensures you have to update something daily and it feels like leadership doesn't trust you
This is peak stupidity i don't understand what is this obsession of calls to these people. I can give update in a thread chat as well right regarding a bug fix or regarding what work on a feature has been done
Lol so real!! I prefer chats over calls too. Especially with those people, whose accents are way too tough to understand. Like britishers
Lazy people and poor communicators can't frame their thoughts clearly on chat. Getting on meet lets them speak vaguely and get their work done by others
