I had no idea that ghosting has become so common

I have been ghosted by more than 4 companies after completing all the rounds of interviews. They should have enough decency to let the candidate know or at least give feedback. I have also had hiring managers say in the final interview that they might not have the budget as per my expectations (even when I had explicitly mentioned the range earlier)

Ghosting is frustrating and unprofessional. Companies should communicate clearly. Keep applying elsewhere to find better opportunities. It's a common issue, but persistence pays off.

I did get 3-4 offers at this point but this has become much more common as compared to pre covid times, at least for cases when you clear all the rounds.
