Don't do anything. Be polite. Prepare yourself in 1 month and switch . For now the market is good and vacancy is more. Without an offer letter never put paper.

Firstly analyse why they have shared this band with you. If It's due to RTO compliance check if you can try visiting the office for 5 days.

If not possible due to any reason start hunting for jobs in priority and consider switching when you're ready.

You should consider staying in TCS only if you want a flexible life with less salary. Or you're getting good experience plus you have cleared digital or have potential opportunities for onsite.

I may sound confused but that's reality I have around 4.5 yrs of experience.. I have got A band still looking for better opportunities outside tcs. I was in TCS just because of Hiring experience ( my role )

Hi, Dear, I have empathy for you. Mark these points as I have been in TCS for more than 6 years :

  1. Your future journey will be challenging as managers do check the previous bands and somewhat make their perceptions. So you have to prove very hard that u can expect C or B ( as you have got D band).

  2. Trust me, start skilling as fast as u can. Don't be in false hope that u will grow superfast now in TCS and give your blood and sweat and, at the end, land up in C or B (if lucky).

  3. Start giving interviews based on whatever learning you have gained in the project and get some hands-on ( there are so many open free open source platforms) Jitni Jaldi ho sake, take decision. We are all from middle class, work seriously hard.

Beat of luck.

Bro, upskill and move on from here. Only employees have ratings, not the employers, so they will give whatever they want. So think about yourself, prepare well and move on. Don't get stuck here.

You can reject the band , when you will reject it will be escalated and then discuss why they gave you D

My point is, as a fresher don't wait here for good things. Instead put papers and find another opportunity. And anyway the world is too big to find new opportunities. Don't take stress. But yes don't waste this time act fast.

In tcs, D band dosn't mean, that they will layoff. They never layoff, maximum they can release you from their project, also it is like they have given the punishment by reducing your salary and it's kind of revenge they have taken, because some where you might not followed their instructions, or you might not done their work in the way they want. So they took the revange. Now it's upon you what exactly you want. if you want to switch and interested for external opportunity and you have good confidence and have enough knowledge to krack the interview from external company, you can try that. Otherwise you can try to look for better project in the same company and do your best.

Reject your band, connect with your manager and reviewer. Collect data of all tasks you have performed and put your points strongly.
