Trending @Accenture; I got Offer from Amazon

I got Offer from Amazon for the role of SDE-1 with the package of 12 LPA, but the problem is it's a Contractor role for 1 year. I asked interviewer while working in contactor role can I apply for full time role by attending another interview, He says that's 98% impossible.

What to do now ?
