Trending @Infosys; I got Need improvement from my previous project

I got improvement from my previous project i only worked there for 3 months. Now I am working in a new team and it is a good team. What should i do ? Will they terminate me ? Should I discuss it with my previous manager ? I am angry. Forget about the increment since I got NI. They didn't

Yeah I connected and he told me that he will do something.. But I don't trust that he will put in any effort and I am in a different project.

It's very hard time for infosys employees right now. They don't value their employees at all. They have fired a lot of people in last 3 months by allocating them to PIP. After Needs improvement rating they allocate to PIP and mostly do terminate.
Even I was I a project and about 50 more people from my unit were directly transfered to another unit and allocated to new technology training and had to complete 4 certification related to it in ECC.
And still don't have any guarantee that they will retain us Or not.
Start finding job outside, that's the best option.

I am already in the other project and it is going fine with my current project. So if I get the NI rating then my current will also be dropped and I will put into the PIP ?

If you are already in a new project and going is good no need to worry you won’t be terminated. You may be put in PIp plan but ask you new manager to set the goals , even if your old manager is setting it make sure he does it in consultation with new manager. Your new manager would not want to lose a resource who is doing good he will ensure only doable goals are assigned. But yes you will not get any performance bonus or increment for whole 1 year. So if you think your NI had no justification fight for it. Don’t go by manager saying he will do something about it. Escalate to next level till you reach HR. But if there were genuine issues/ client escalation you have little chance to get it reversed as HR only force managers to give Ni rating to some % of folks who are the lowest performers so managers have to look at minutests of issues to justify ni

The Need Improvement ratings are given at the time of appraisal only right?!
