Trending @Capgemini; I got exceeding rating but still didn’t got any promotion.

In Cg, rating, promotion, salary raise all are different, don't happen with in consequence of others, I don't know how it works in other org, it's messed up here , I am a victim of this, many a times it happens no hike but promoted with more responsibility or vice versa or they give some award then not promote, it's a sh*t show, your higher ups & hr mess everything

@PoorLoop48 mee also got an Exceeding rating and still didn't get any promotion and hike.

I had a conversation with my N+1 he said that sometimes there will be a delay in generating letters. So he requested that I wait for sometime. Still any change to get an appraisal or he is telling a lie.

Here you have to speak and fight for your hike and promotion. I got 1st time promotion after 3 year Bcz 2.5 years I did not speak to my manager But last 6 month I spoke for hike and promotion. Eventually I got in this April promotion From B2- C but hike was only 7%

There are so many people who got exceeding but we're not promoted, it's not necessary you will be promoted for exceeyrating. Your manager needs to nominate you for grade promotion.

I Got promotion Grade changed from B2- C1 but 7% hike ( they did not consider the promotional hike)

Exceeding is 2 rating. Exceptional is 1 however it all depends whether ur manager pushed for your promotion or not

Grade? BU? Inorder to get promoted your N+1 needs to nominate your name for promotion.
