I got D band in last cycle and I was released from that project now I got allocated to new project and they are putting me in PIP.

Hello All,

I am seeking guidance, I asked for release to my old manager as there was shifts and I also completed sufficient time in project I formally email to my manager but he didn’t responded and then in appraisal he gave me D band and 14% decreased for me and immediately he released within 15 days without informing me. When i rejected band and had conversations with HR and with him I asked for reason of D band and he suggested RTO compliance was not met. He was not even ready for connect not even replying over email also no help from HR as I suggested them that the manager never connect with team or help solve team issues he said I am unprofessional over call one to one with him. I also wrote email putting my work in project appreciation and stakeholders recognitions and internal awards they reviewed but rejected my request to change D band to atleast C? Went into total demotivation but they didn’t help. Then I came on bench and daily having internal tcs interviews for new projects and selected also but I said no for shifts and got pressure from RMG side by side I was selected to one of good project related to Data Engineering and got allocated. Now to go for appraisal new project manager and HR was saying as i got D band they need to put me to PIP now for 60 days then appriasal will initiate but the band will not change:(. I feel like resigning from TCS same way feeling this new project is good but the things happend here like 14% decrement and PIP all are not good. Please suggest.

Relax.. you got a second chance.. utilise it.. don't prove your previous manager right.. pray that current project doesn't get rampdown. You have to give 200% & create dependency in the current project..

Use the experience and leave.. how long were you on bench? 2 months?

It's nothing to do with bench period @WFO please align with your current supervisor and complete the goals on time. There is a possibility to close it within 39 days if the performance is outstanding. I am in same situation, best of luck for both of us. Stay strong

Very sad to hear..... But in TCS they are trying to force resign and terminate people... Need to clear PIP... That's the only way

Was you working from office ? I have seen people getting D band for RTO compliance. When manager give C band , HR changes it to D band because of RTO

I had 100% RTO but got D due to the clash with the delivery partner and got released at the wrong time just before the band release

Same garbage i was told by my manager. I mailed the same to HR and HR denied by saying there was no involvement of HR. After this,my manager changed his words and blamed it to unit head. Purely misguiding and people are lying. The just don't wanna take the blame in their name for their wrong judgement.
