Trending @Capgemini; I got a mail saying career development discussion and appraisal feedback ,so will this be used to give appraisal for upcoming cycle?

So I got this mail stating this feedback to be completed by 20th of this month by my people manager keeping me in loop and that this will be considered for appraisal cycle

So that means will I get promoted next year or this month? I'm confused ...
