I got a 4.3 rating ...Is it good or bad?

I got a C band with 4.2 rating, and lost my digital incentives. Managers and senior management literally doesn't care for anyone here in TCS. Loosing 4 lakhs to them is a joke, and all because of uncontrollable factors like team downsizing and all.

Not a good rating anything below 4.9 is bad 😔.

Very good rating but unfortunately not much useful for hike or growth here

It's meaningless. In TCS defined terms it's good - you are exceeding expectations but that's just to say as it has no real value in terms of your performance pay and growth. What is partly meaningful is your band. Getting 4.3 makes you eligible for a B band, but you could also get an A or a C band, based on the whims of your manager and their supervisor etc. Anyhow keep happy & make good choices. Don't let this rating and band stuff affect you - if you get too happy next time you don't get it will make you sad or depressed. It's not worth your time.

Good Rating only...

But Managers are giving good ratings to stop unnecessary arguments before the Bands.

Bands doesn't depend on your Ratings most of the times.
Bands depends on Managers opinion on you.

I got C band with 4.3 ratings , I asked about this to managers and they don't have any answers related to this .

Rating doesnt make much difference

4.3 is ugly 😂 Jokes apart, I got a B band with a 4.7 rating. It doesn't matter.

Kya farak padhta hai bhai 2-3 saal kaam kar aur nikal
