Tax is almost same as India but at least you get services for it. If you live frugally, you should expect to save anywhere between 1500 and 2k GBP per month which averages to around 1750gbp or 2L inr per month. Meaning you should be able to save around 25L INR odd in any given year. Hence in four years even ignoring raises you will have corpus of 1cr which in india could take over 12 years.

Also keep in mind that as dollar devalues, fdi is moving to euro and GBP so GBPinr continues to appreciate which means your salary in inr terms will slowly appreciate in rupee terms. Hence I added an extra lakh in the annual savings.
