I forgot my macbook air password, I can't login into my mac now.

How do I reset macbook air password. I created a new apple id for macbook but i forgot password, I can not open laptop now. Anyone any help please

There are two passwords, one for apple id, another for macBook. Which one you forgot? Or did you forget both?

not able to reset via recovery mode as well

Recover your iCloud account first which was signed in Mac then use that to reset Mac

Go to apple store. I’m not entirely sure but a relative had this issue and the store folks helped.
