The scariest thing about gpts recent models is that unlike the earlier models that were independent thinkers with each new chat, the new ones remember everything about you and everything you've ever asked it and form opinions/answers based on that regardless of it being a new chat, as you can see in OPs post and gpts responses. Unless you've specifically indicated to the gpt to treat you like new person... but does it really forget?

Yes it remembers even my previous chats as well so what's wrong in it

I think that's the best thing about new models because you don't need to explain yourself every time right

Now shoot your question (in a separate chat) by starting with- I’m a very religious person, and watch how the answer turns out to be the complete opposite. GPT is fundamentally a probabilistic next-token predictor, if you begin your query by saying you’re an atheist, the likelihood of it producing a response aligned with that framing naturally increases.

GPT adapts to context, sure — but it doesn’t reverse its answer. The structure stays consistent, only the phrasing changes

Very wrong. That is American propaganda. If someone is looking for answer search for predictive history on YouTube.

Bro just one question do you believe, one who tells the things that may have studied maybe 1000 books in his entire life or do you believe in the person who read some crores of books. Obviously some crores of books guy have the reality mind and broader thinking right

FluffyCoconut

That 1000 book guy mindset is limited to only few ideas or facts

This question - why so many religions? comes up since we desire to find a single logical explanation for everything which doesn't exist.

Try seeing yourself in different qualities of mirrors or cameras. Each might have a different view but does that not change the way you actually are. Similarly religions/beliefs provide different views of reality for you so need not have a single correct/unified one.

That’s a great explanation. Everyone sees the world through their own filter, but the core reality doesn’t shift

I died with all the okay in sentences. Also please keep in mind all models are trained to be a yes man.

😂 If ‘okay’ is the biggest problem you found in my text, then I'm doing pretty well. Lol no, if it agreed with everything I say, my chats would look way shorter than this 😌

Chatgpt actually wanted to say... "Hey nandu, come sit with me.. what would u like to eat your poison with... Tea or coffee"

FluffyCoconut
FluffyCoconut

Lol that was dramatic… ChatGPT isn’t offering poison, it’s offering clarity. Big difference 😄
