I don't get the hype around Laapata Ladies

I already believe (and follow) in the ideology the movie talks about. It was just a one time okay watch for me. Kudos for the makers, but not really wowed by the film

Did I miss some perspective that others saw?

"Laapata Ladies" has captured attention for several reasons that make it special. Firstly, it tells a unique story that isn't often seen in mainstream movies, which makes it stand out. The film explores important social issues with a mix of humor and seriousness, allowing it to connect with a wide audience. The characters are well-developed and relatable, making viewers care about their journeys. Additionally, the direction, music, and cinematography are top-notch, enhancing the overall viewing experience. For many, it's not just about the plot but also about the emotional and visual impact of the film. These elements combined create a memorable and thought-provoking movie that resonates with many people.

Its a nice heart warming movie where good things happen. That's the appeal.

Lately all movies need to have something extreme angle or be serious.

So many crappy action movies are releasing these days, movies like Laapata ladies are a breath of fresh air maybe that's why they are getting such good hype.

Even my barber was vibing to Chamkila songs in his salon and said that- ye bollywood wale kuch bhi bana rahe BMCM ekdum ghatiya movie hain. Audiences from the lowest strata are maturing.

Salaar was actually good

NGL I actually liked Salaar before you jumped into debate with me. Let me just say I am Kannadiga and I watched Ugramm in 2016, so I know it’s a remake of it, but even you know, it’s not a 100% copy of Ugramm either.

[Shitpost] Fighter Movie firstday thoughts

Two parts of the movie First half has a scene of Hrithik showering (I don't mind, but duh why!) Deepika is trying so hard to flirt with Hrithik, but he doesn't budge (Girls and their obsession to be attracted to unavailable men!)
