I don't get the enthusiasm of launch of DMs
Maybe it's just me.
Given the anonymous nature of the app, it never occurred to me to DM someone (and I haven't had any DMs yet either and I understand why).
I totally understand how useful it will be for a few folks - people looking for job change, people looking to join a company and get their opinion etc
But why were people so happy for the launch? Enlighten me please.
Mere paas to DM ke liye hai he nhi koi/kuch 🥲

Agreed. When you have something to say other than these post, DMs are great But the comments are fun enough, why risk giving out our identity

Exactly! As a long timer, you tell me - how many DMs have you had so far? Excluding the DMs from other long timers. And how useful were they?

@ThanosIsRight now that's classified. But apart from few jokes and pleasantries, we cannot move anywhere. Maybe later when we need something or want to talk on personal topics, DM will be helpful

Imho most of the people don't contribute. It's only bunch of people. They will only get the dms. People should step up and contribute more. As it's anonymous platform. We should use it to share our experiences be in anything.

Fair point. It falls in the bucket of people that I explained.

Happy bcoz it was long overdue. Usecase u alrdy mentioned
