I currently have two offers and accepted both of them

Hi, I have two offers.

YoE: 3 Tech Stack: Python, Docker, Kubernetes

  1. Nagarro
  • Designation: Senior Engineer
  • CTC: 13LPA (11.7 Fixed)
  • General Hiring
  1. Capgemini
  • Designation: Associate Consultant
  • CTC: 10.5LPA (10.3 Fixed)
  • Project Specific Hiring

I'm thinking of playing a gamble and joining Nagarro amidst their layoff situations as I could feel I would learn better in Nagarro while giving their interview.

Also, Currently I'm in automation and are offered a dev position and that's my career goal too.

What are your thoughts? Also, what would be my in-hand in both the cases?

Yes, Thinking the same. Just worried until I'm allocated to a project because I heard they have hire and fire policy 😅

If you're currently at amdocs, then nagarro is atleast better compared to it, amdocs also fired people as recently in September, plus if I'm not wrong until you're alloted a project you'll have free time to search for more offers.

Both of these suck for someone with 3 yoe

Okay and which of the two sucks less? 😢

Nagarro sucks less from a dev perspective.

This is a no brainer, choose Nagarro. However, for 3 yoe, you're totally being lowballed. Stay for an year max and switch again.

  • Can you please tell the process how did you get dev role from automation?

I kept on applying. And, as I had knowledge of docker and k8s, I was offered Python+Devops role.

Hey, first of congratulations for getting these offers. If you don't mind, would you please tell how is interviewing process at Nagarro? Like is it more DSA focused or general development focused? Interview rounds as well. Thanks!

It was general development focussed. I wasn't asked any DSA questions, Hiring was for Python Developer
