After working at Infosys and experiencing the worst work life balance, low salary and benefits I can confidently say I can survive anywhere.
What do you think about yourself?
I know Infosys is not good, also TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc are in the same category. I will say question varies from person to person. . I have experience of working in the Manufacturing sector too. Fixed shift timings, night shift, extra production shifts, 6 days of working, working in some remote locations. I would say it's 10x hectic and undue pressure is given by your senior and mind you if anything happens to any of the workers then the whole Union is there to rip you apart. The company will directly blame and shame you in front of everyone. So surviving game is different for everyone. I am not countering you here, just sharing my perspective.
Exactly after my last job as a Sales Engineer I feel IT jobs are a bliss, even Infosys
Yes as the saying goes grass is always greener on the other side. Even I feel the same about the IT field. I think people from other fields know the pain and suffering they have been through.
