
Trending @Infosys; I applied at ijp as I don't want to contonue in current team. My manager got to know and she put me under pip. Now she is not closing it even she said she wants me in her team. What to do, i badly got stuck.

Raise a case in HEAR against her, stating the fact that she put you into pip after knowing you want to progress in your career via IJP. Also mention, she forcefully put you into PIP to retain you in her team and she is harassing you mentally by forcefully keeping you. Mark her manager, your HR and senior management in cc.
If she is giving you hell without any reason, then make sure you give her hell with so many reasons.
However, best I would suggest is to SWITCH. These type of corporate swines earn by harassing people like you, don't give her that scope. Upskill and switch.

Pip comes only if you ni rating

This is not true..now anyone can come under PIP obviously barring outstanding rating people

Only NI and UI ratings get PIP dude why will some one with commendable rating suffer pip some 1% of ME May get it but mostly no if you rating is fine you can challenge this pip with HR

How did your manager know that you have applied for IJP?

When you apply for IJP mail sent to you and your manager for the same.

No the mail is only sent after one gets selected. Not before that

Contact your manager's manager. Tell him the entire scene. Also connect with manager one on one, ask him/her the real reason and stand by your decision. Be confident.

Did you ask her , why did she put in PIP , and what PIP means to her?? It's not a weapon to use to put employee under pressure and bas phase...it's a process if someone is weak and not enough focused for his work and continue to fail deliverables and got NI ratinngs, can be put in PIP..how dare she did that just to missuse her postion.if you really don't want to work with her keep your ijp aspiration continue...and take all action in the employee capacity against her for putting you in PIP.

I am working under production codes and also going thru PIP. I dont know if i am not capable and they gave NI rating but same time they are giving me Production projects and told me that they want me in thier team. Not getting this all shit.

Escalate to your unit HR and copy your managers manager and his manager until senior delivery manager

And how come some one gets an NI rating at any point of time to be eligible for PIP?? It can be given only when your performance cycle is open...not any point in time

If you got selected in IJP then she has no option to stop you from release. This is the cheap trick she played to stop you. Anyways, you can challenge the decision of put you in pip as so far your work in the project will be evident. As an employee we also leave rights dude...even manager or whoever it is they can't take it for granted.
