Trending @Infosys; I am working in infosys from last 1.6Years for BOfa client. Now client directly approch me and giving me offer to join BofA.
Well it won't be that easy. You cannot work directly with the client unless there is a contractual precedent between Infosys and BOFA. Normally if a client wants to absorb you they must reach out to your engagement manager. They will have a discussion and terms will be set and then you will be absorbed. Or you must work for 6 months with a different client.
These kind of restrictions are not valid legally and not admissible in court . Once you leave an organisation, there is no law which can stop you for working with a competitor or client. Any one sided clause in the contract is null and void, if it goes against basic fundamental right to live and earn under article 21 of indian constitution.
Sure, but you do sign a contract. I am just presenting facts here also if that's the case I will be more than happy as I will directly join my client since infy stopped my conversion

You can’t do that. Looks like the particular client doesn’t know the process. Infosys and clients sign a non compete clause no client can directly take anyone from infosys without informing Infosys stakeholders. At same time in many accounts there is a tactical understanding with client and infosys that they will absorb some resources directly with mutual consent. So your particular client has to reach out to his management who will reach out to vendor management team. Who in turn with contact infosys management. If they approve it can be done. Else only way is for you to resign serve 90 days and join teh client. But if it’s in same project infosys management can again create issues .
