I am thinking about going on bench for few months for CAT presentation

Hello guys, I am thinking about going on bench for my cat preparation because I don't think that i can grow in TCS cuz I don't like development, I want to pursue my career in management field like in management consultant or strategy consultant, I want to do MBA, Tomorrow is my last day in my current project, if I go for bench will there be any consequences for me. please give your situations.
