"I am serving notice" maybe, i guess, i might, i could, i can, i wish.. and more..

funny how often recruiters run into candidates who say "I am serving notice" are, in fact, NOT serving notice.

and then there are the cases where

• candidates are on their 5th notice period extension
• candidates getting appraisal while still "serving notice" (yeah beat that..)
• candidate joined a new company, got their first pay check, but for the recruiter they are still on "I am serving notice" mode

I just love how folks A/B test the whole market :)

But then again, if job postings can be a lie, so can notice periods. Somewhere Karma has order a masala chaach espresso shot topped with jagermeister, raw egg and a Red Bull chaser.. guarantees instant regret and long-term nausea.
