U are kind of overpaid...don't think they will give proper increment as they will think u are already overpaid for an 8 year

Generally, they take 2x rule as base.. So if 5 YOE is getting more than 10L they will think that person is overpaid...and will try to not give increment,even if rating is good

Oh bhai you are getting much in HCL , how did you got this much package. Generally hcl wont pay this much to any profile

HCL pays this much to people with 8 years of experience. But if you had a counter offer, you could have got up to 25 lakhs.I also joined HCL 2.5 years ago with 5 years of experience. And I had counter offers so I got a package of 17 lakhs with 5 years of experience

I joined hcl with 8+ years with 17 lpa in same designation and I complete 3 years by April and now ctc 18.4 lpa after two appraisal. And I have friends in other tech stack who joined with 29 lpa as well.
