Trending @Infosys; I am in safe zone or not?
I have joined Infosys 3.5 months back, I haven't given any interview, my bench utilisation is 0%.
First 2 months they randomly put me on pre production and without any further communication they release me. I have given one client round interview and got selected then I came to know this project not aligned to my skill set so I rejected the project opportunity.
After that my manager got changed and he assigned me on a pre production project and after 1 Week I got rejection mail in client round interview but there was no interview at all. I asked manager he said ignore it. Then he assigned me on training till dec 31st.
Hence this way either I was in pre production or in training and on bench it is 0 in Alcon.
I just want to know how safe I am since I was never on bench.
Do you have any idea how to get project. I am reaching out to managers by looking opportunity on IJP portal but no one replied.
Now I am feeling little insecure. Do you have any suggestions.
I too went through the same ordeal. I was put in an account that required a totally different skillset. After 3-3.5 months I removed some unrelated skills from my profile that got automatically added during joining. Also, I guess there's a limit as well where after 45 days on internal bench you get moved to central bench.
After I got moved to central pool, I got a call for an urgent requirement for a project that matched my skillset.
Don't worry, there people on bench for more than 1 years with several failed interviews, just look for correct project with ur aligned skills and you will have nothing to worry.
