I have 2.3years of experience at Infosys and i have good knowledge in the cyber security domain and i am currently doing a 2nd project as soc Analyst, waiting for role change promotion(j3) can I wait for promotion or else try to switch the company because after getting the promotion the package will be 3.6lpa, right now my package is 2.9lpa, can you please suggest?

Switch companies. Infosys promotions and hikes are slow and minimal. You'll likely get a better salary elsewhere. Don't waste time waiting for a small bump. Make the move.

If you think you're likely to get promotion within few months wait for it, if not try looking for change right away , if not start preparing for it. It's going to take some time. With this much exp you should be getting 8lpa+ easily once you switch
