If you go to itime you can see a text called ACS days and followed by a number , that is the number of days taken in to account for this requirement. It will not count it as one day if the hours is less than 3. You need 3 hours to count it in red , 6 hours to count it in yellow and 8 hours to count it in green.

Total 9 hours tab is all green . So will it make a difference ?

The WFO (Work from Office) policy is fulfilled by simply clocking in and out, regardless of the time spent in the office.

However, the work hours ethics policy cannot be fulfilled with just 3 hours of work.

Currently, the company seems to be focusing only on enforcing the WFO policy and not the work hours ethics policy, so relax. That said, not adhering to the work hours policy alone is enough reason for termination. 😏

Honestly speaking you can stay in office for even 30 min and leave because in HR policy the number of hours to be met is not called out. However this may differ from project to project and account to account.
