I have been to Riyadh for 4 months , if you’re vegetarian it is very difficult to stay there. In the entire capital city of Saudi arabia(Riyadh) only one pure restaurant available in lulu mall. Being a vegetarian I must have to prepare my own food in Riyadh, in office also you can find only non veg . You may lose 3-4 kgs weight after few weeks. Consider all these before taking the decision

We used to order vegetarian food from restaurants in Riyadh who would deliver to our office during lunch time. Coz in our office as well food options were not so good for vegetarians but with restaurants and even with cooks whom we hired at cheap rates to cook daily for us, it was hardly a problem after spending some time in Riyadh. As u stay for longer durations there u start getting adjusted more to the cultural shocks. But there r lot of good things abt the middle East like the care for women and families is exceptional. For bachelors, this might be little hard to digest though

I am a vegetarian who spent 1.5 years in Riyadh and trust me when I say I'm still looking for the middle eastern vegetarian cuisine in India. U will hv plenty of vegetarian options to munch on. Felafel, Hummus, the big Tandoori rotis, Haloumi cheese sandwiches, Turkish Coffe, lip smacking food in restaurants like Delhi restaurant, Red Chilli, Khana Khazana, and many in Hara area especially. Bhai just go there , u will save a lot compared to UK/US/EU and the quality of life as far as infrastructure is concerned is way ahead of India! ACs everywhere in cabs, office, home. U will not spend a ton of time traveling to the office and back as the roads are excellent and drives are mostly at 90-100 kmph in the city. We used to 13,200 Saudi Riyals per month in C3A grade and there is very little expense. U can even hire cooks at cheap rates for daily food preparation. Laundry n all u can easily give it to workers to do. There r ton of people from the subcontinent who work in Riyadh, just don't worry at all. Flight pakdo aur chalo!! 😊

Bhai Go....have a good experience.... You will get veg food there.... Atleast raw veggies and fruits that you can cook....be a law abiding person there.....only problematic thing is that you might have problems switching to Western countries if you were in Saudi or any other Muslim country (other than UAE)

Why it would be a problem to switch to west?
