I am fresher graduating in 2024. Having a Full time offer (8lpa) and intern offers from Groww & Swiggy.
I am not able to decide which one to choose. The Groww internship is guaranteed that if I perform well I will get PPO(15 LPA) and swiggy one is dicy if even it does have PPO. Since only one more month is left for my graduation, taking any of these internships will require me to leave the FTE offer. Any suggestions fellow developers??

Go for GROWW

Any specific reason? Coz then I'll have to leave my FTE (Not a bad company) and if I am not given PPO after 6 months then I'll be jobless😬

But what if it turns out good and you get the PPO.
In my perspective as a fresher you can take the risk but if you feel otherwise than stay and in upcoming years make a switch.

I've been working at Swiggy as an intern rn. no surity of ppo after 6 months. My 6 months just got completed, and now they have extended my internship to 2 more months. Don't really want to do an 8 months intern but don't have any better offer.

Well that is really unfortunate :(. U r in final year?

Yeah. I was happy that i got into swiggy. Didn't apply for Groww that time. Now swiggy's culture has been very irritating. They are just telling me that they can't tell me about conversion because I'm currently in college.. like.. wtf 🤡.
Don't join

Stay away from Swiggy. 💀

Hey whyy? Please tell me moree🥲🥲

1 - Bad culture
2 - favouritism from manager and senior manager
3 - Fucked up senior management
4 - Laying off people
5 - ASDE position was recently created so they can get SDE 1 with a pay of intern.
6 - Management decisions have turned senior folks against new joiners. so it’s their job vs yours.
7 - Senior management has no clear vision, they would start selling shit if zomato starts the same.
8 - Product people are just copying from zomato/blinkit/zepto.
9 - Every day a new vertical either gets closed or restructuring happens.
10 - Senior ICs are converted into Managers.
11 - Dev experience is as good as shit.
Pic your poison.

Groww is a good company for learning. One of my friend was in groww. And you will get financial knowledge also bcz you will be working in that domain only. Btw in which company you have got FTE?

Wissen Technologies (Morgan stanley is the main client)

I guess it's service based company? I would always prefer a product based company as it has more growth and learning opportunities

How much swiggy and groww offer in their internship?

Swiggy - 40 (remote)
Groww - 60 (Bangalore) 🤡

You should go for Groww, have heard pretty bad things about Swiggy.

job le lo bhai, time ka koi bharosa nhi
baad mein effort krke change krte rehna

Bro baadme opportunity miss kardi ye regret bhi hota h. HR ne bola conversation rate 3/4 interns h.

You're just starting out. 1-2 saal ki missed opportunity doesn't make a difference in 30-40 years of career. On top of it, a secure job >>> internship in this current market.
There are no jobs even for experienced people, i doubt you'd be able to secure a job in a short time if it comes to that..

Guyss an update on this. I am thinking of going with Groww. The only issue is that it is onsite Bangalore. Any idea is it difficult to find accommodation there?

Half of the software engineers reside in Banglaore. Stop overthinking and just join now

Okayy🙂👍

Bhai Groww ka intern offer lele... Brand ka tag can open doors anyway... If your current PPO offer doesn't have a brand name, go for Groww. Speaking from first and second hand experience.

Okies
