I am done. Quitting consulting after 4 months
Rant: I got into a Big 4 recently and the experience has been horrendous. How much does the alignment of a fucking cell matters a lot. What kind of pretentious shit is this. On top of that people have the balls to call you out on fucking formatting of a page, they don't give a shit about the material. No real work, and stress is through the roof. I am working 14 hours on an average daily. My personal life is shit, I am pretty sure I'll start getting sick soon. Even if it gets better I doubt the change will be drastic. I may not be cut out for consulting, nevertheless it is what it is.
I'll make my CV today.
Also I've started losing hair, I am fucking 25!

Presentation IS important and formatting of a page or alignment of the content inside the cells is basic. Looks like you need to learn these skills. Also, you’re in consulting so why do you think presentation wouldn’t be important when presenting your recommendations to clients?

Yes, I agree that alignment is important, but the way it's brought up often feels more like nitpicking or bickering rather than constructive advice. While it's crucial for the entire team, if someone has provided strong content and the only issue is minor alignment, shouldn't team leads or managers also take some responsibility to fix it themselves when needed? The amount of time spent purely on alignment rather than focusing on actual delivery can sometimes feel excessive and counterproductive.

If a person is being squeezed out for (14 hrs. a day + commute time in traffic) and still expect perfection with simple alignment stuff, they can go to hell. If the superior is competent and influential enough to make sure the team gets only 8 hrs. of work a day and not more creeping into personal life, then sure they can expect that kind of perfection. We should stop equating parasitism with management.

Hair loss almost everyone experiences when people get too much stress, even I am also stressing on lots of things(unemployment, heartbreak etc) but still we somehow always manage 😁😁

Someone's discomfort is someone's aspirational life.
My ambition is to become Consultant someday

Don’t be stupid, an engineer or architect gets more respect than a consultant. Don’t fall into consultancy trap go for product based companies.

You are in Accenture. You are already a consultant
Get some experience with them on implementation and then move to an industry setup. It's never the material as that's CYA for the executives hiring the Big 4 to do org changes as they see fit

good God. may you be successful in your new venture

If you don't mind sharing, what's the salary they offer for such roles?
