I am confused about my career right now

Started off with python scripting and did switch 3companies in last 7 years and worked as backend developer for some time and script automation for some time now working as reliability engineer

I feel like i have mixed experience of all of them but to make my career stable i am thinking of ups-killing myself with AI/ML and switching the role in next company as AI engineer

How easy this switch would be? What suggestion could i get ?
