I am about to give my resignation today.

What are the leaves I can take during notice period? And what is the procedure to apply for resignation?

You can only take sick leave.
Email to your immediate manager and HR.

If i have around 30 to 40 sick leaves pending can i take them all?

You can take but if the sick leave is more than two days then you have to provide doctor certificate.

Thanks for your comments I have close to 12 Sick leaves and 32 earned.I will get my settlement for earned leaves right? .Also from your comments i could take that I use sick leave my notice period wont get extended.Am I right.

So, do we get paid for only earned leaves while leaving?. What about casual and sick leaves??

Yes only earned leave get encashed.

Send resignation email to your manager, team lead keeping hr in cc. Only sick leaves are allowed while you serve your notice period. More than 3 sick leaves will attract to submit medical certificate. Other than sick leave will extend your notice period
