Trending @Cognizant; I am a Manager leading a team of 7 people working on 3 technologies in Middleware.
Today was our project townhall and there multiple towers within the project. I am quite unhappy after the townhall...because in Rewards n recognition section, none of my teammates got an award, all are very hardworking and sincere members , but not getting recognition. I have been timely highlighting all their achievemnents to the higher management, but no concern .
What should I do? Whats the best way to express my and my team's unhappiness here?

Leave company and everyone will know you are unhappy. Nowadays Cognizant doesn't appreciate people or the talent they have. Be it policies or appreciation..they are not even offering peanuts.

You can raise cheer points for them. In my project we have forced the managers to initiate cheer points for us after every weekend support/ Extended support.

See being a M level associate you r finding yourself helpless..now think abt the associates below M level how depressing it will be for them who have no idea how partial the higher management works.

There was no nomination before the townhall?... Thr should/must have been? You should take it up with your HM and try from your side to get them rewarded in some form or other... As a leader it's your duty to see that your team is successful and the success is well exposed to your leadership... I am sure you can get them rewarded one way or another... Keep pushing until you and your team get what you deserve... Always remember you can handle the situation by giving up and moving on by quite quitting this will just make the leadership repeat the same mistake with another team or make them realise your team's value.. at least you will have the satisfaction to have tried for your team... You will have 1000 reasons not to try but if you have one good reason to try or prove you should!!!
