I am a fresher and I want to change my project as my skill set doesn't match the project but my manager is not releasing me what should I do

You can escalate it to higher management including your HR as your skill and project required skills are not matching and also you can mention that there is no scope to utilize your skills in current project as it is completely different. Try in a smooth way
