I am 22 and Need advice and probably help.

I am 22 years old, current in last sem college. Doing BBA in Bengaluru. My native place is in chhattisgarh.

But, I have been writing code for almost 3 years. Strated it as a hobby l, then keep learning and learning.

Applied to many company, no one is hiring.

Just launched my first paid product "TrueExtract" 14 day ago. It took around 6 month to build.

It is an desktop application that extract data from sites in real time, user can see actually what is happening and has full control.

For last 14 doing marketing about application on t1.witter, LinkedIn, yt. Creating videos and explain it use case to others. Tryed many ways but no one has sign up.

Lesson I leaned:

  1. I am building a business on sector, which is small and it's customers are hard to find.
  2. Distribution network is important, i even don't have 100 followers on social media.

Need help and advice from you people. Please help me what to do? If any one has any connection, please 🥺 helps me.

One suggestion i have is to make it web based. People are wary of installing unknown applications from strangers. Maybe that's why you have less users.

I have used chromium that load the web site inside the application.

If I make it web then it will not work properly

you've built a tool, but you're trying to sell a product. companies don't buy niche desktop apps from unknown developers; they hire the developer who can build that tool for them internally. the market for your skills is much, much larger than the market for your app. frame "trueextract" not as a startup, but as the best resume project a hiring manager will see this year. that's your distribution network.
