Hyderabad or Bengaluru
If you had a choice to choose between the two, where would you live?
Hyderabad had bengaluru traffic and chennai weather.
I'd rather take Pune.
Oh, I've mostly been to Madhapur, Kondapur, Hitech City area in Hyderabad and I loved Hyderabad infra. Traffic was there but not as bad as Bangalore. But again, I've only been to Hyd just couple of times
Pune traffic is going to get a whole lot worse in the next 2 years due to elevated levels of housing development activity and density.
They don't even have major arterial roads in the city or any ring road or anything.
Theyre going to have to speed up their metro construction in order to survive.
It entirely depends on what you are looking for. I’ve lived in both cities and here is my view:
- Food: Better in Hyderabad than Bengaluru. Especially Indian food
- Cost of living: Lesser in Hyderabad
- Traffic: Pretty much the same in both cities during peak hours
- Weather: Bangalore, but Hyderabad is only bad during summers (hot, but never humid) which is fine if you have an AC in the office and at home
- Nightlife: Better in Bangalore but places close down sooner
- Networking and events: Better in Bangalore
- Public Transport Access: Better in Hyderabad because of the metro
Oh, and Hyderabad has much better street food with some places open 24*7 within the city :)
