Hyderabad IT Market : Where Did the Jobs Go?

Once upon a time, a fresher could walk into Gachibowli with a resume and walk out with a job.

Now? You’re lucky if HR even sees your email.

I just passed out this month and I already feel what it’s like when people say, “I’ve been jobless since 2023.” Still hopeful. I’ve got solid projects, certifications but no responses. DOJs postponed. Offers revoked. "We’ll get back to you" is the new goodbye.

Hyderabad looks alive, laptops in cafes, co-working spaces buzzing. But behind every smiling fresher is a heart waiting for an offer letter.

Hiring freeze is real. Ghosting is real. So is the pressure.

🔥 LinkedIn job posts? Many are fake or internally filled. Referrals? Only if you’re a gold-medalist with 3 internships.

While we wait, companies keep hiring experienced folks it's like our batch never existed.
