Trending @Capgemini; HYD - WFO is frustrating!
Why the fuck do management calls us to office when
- There aren't enough parking spaces
- The lifts are always full
- Meeting spaces are always full
- WiFi/network is poor
- Cafeteria during lunch hours is always crowded
- There is almost no added value for WFO over WFH
This is the situation at both GAR & Campus. What do HRs & managers even think? It fucking irritates me every day!
Do you guys feel the same?

I agree. I joined in pune few days back and i have to sit in open ocd. Team is not here and mandatory 9.5 hrs are required to stay + i need to commute 4 hrs. Every place is so crowded. They don’t even provide biscuits during evening. 10am to 12 pm is too much, it’s so exhauting

True on top of that I don’t even have my team over here.No point of forcing employees to call office until and unless it is imp.
We have to attend office and then after reaching home should join late might calls as well

Exactly!! Even worse when your team isn't there with you. And all this for chillar hikes

Agreed, travelling is so hectic in Mumbai, it took me 2.5 hours for up and down to office. During my office hours I drop my daughter to local creche, I also have to look after her as none is there at home. I cannot stay more than 3 hours in office, as I to pickup my kid before 5:30. WFH is allowed only in extreme medicaal condition.

So it's benifitting neither us not Capgemini

Agreed, so much inconveniences for 6 hours of WFO including traffic and heat.

If they don’t call you office how will the real estates earn how will the rent owners get money how will the metro auto and taxi would get paid how would roads become large potholes in months how would you get ill and how would you meet accident and many more…
This is all a fucking viscous cycle all this fucking system is corrupt and moreover these motherfuckers tax you and give you peanuts in name of hike and this LALA people sitting on top filling their bank accounts and getting fat and fat day by day.
So bro you can’t do anything
Because you cannot do anything 🙃

Everything of your comment bro, word by word!! Stupid system & stupid management

Reporting from Gurgaon location, my residence is 2.5 hrs away, so it takes atleast 5 hrs in commute + 7 hrs mandatory in office, not to forget that I have to attend daily stand up at 6 AM sharp or the supervisor threatens action by the client. Been in my second project in the span of 4 years (fresher joining), there is not a single team member or even anyone related to both of the projects at my location. Also I am an offshore technical support in my current project, so it doesn't even make sense to come to office even if something important happens. There is shortage of space and seats on any given day but cafeteria crowd is manageable.

Run buddy run, run from here

I can see most of the people are facing issues .Due to some personal reasons I had reported to both banglore and chennai and I see same situation described as above . The question is how can we convince management to provide wfh or decrease mandatory hours atleast

All we can do is fill Pulse because no manager listens to this and takes action. HRs are always out of this planet

They create policies but donor enable an environment for healthy WFO.
