
Trending @Accenture; HR policy is it true or false?
I requested a roll-off from the project, but hr is saying that, according to Accenture’s policy, staying 18 months on a project is mandatory. Can anyone confirm if the policy is true?
Please guide me on how to get out of this unwanted project.

Don't believe any policy here. If you are not willing to work, then tell them straightforward that it does not align with your aspirations and you will not be able to work properly anymore and will affect the project badly if further stay.

Policy is for 1 year before roll off. But if the project your on doesn’t align you can always have a request for change

No it is not true, I have done two projects for one year each. It depends upon the manager, if it is good for them they will roll off. Actually it is very very easy for them.

This is a standard policy across all the IT companies. But that doesn't mean that you have to spend 18 months in a project to get a roll off. Try talking it out with your people lead first and then reach out to HR. Also, identify another project which matches with your skill set and make sure they are ready to enroll you.

I do not think there is an HR policy like this but it is true that once you are onboarded to a new project, you are supposed to stay for a minimum of 18 months. If you think you are onboarded to a wrong skill set or the role doesn't align with your aspirations, you can connect with your supervisor and explain about your aspirations and he/she might look to put you in some other project within the client space.

Yes its true, but there are few exceptions in which you can take early roll off from project.

Don't get provoked by some comments here. It's actually true that staying 12-18 months for some project is mandatory. Don't play any tricks as always remember there are smarter people than you. Try to have a conversation with your project SDM and convey your problems.good luck.
