you will likely face consequences like salary deductions or warnings. HR is strict about the 9-hour rule. better to follow it to avoid trouble.

Haha people are not leaving TCS with 5 day policy. New strategy is in place now. If still people will not leave then they will come up with another strategy.

RTO non compliance actions:

  1. quarterly variable pay will not be given.
  2. I think most of the managers have added 100% RTO compliance in Goal Sheet so don’t expect a good band and Rating at end of appraisal.
  3. No promotion on RTO non-compliance( not sure how much this is true, you guys can confirm it)

That goal is to ensure they can give bad bands and if you resist they will show you your RTO.

Good band still goes to employees they like

Should we follow it in notice period as well?

If you are in notice period then why worry !! To all KT , handover takeover.

Unless your Account mgmt is very rigid, I would suggest, at least work for 1.5 to 2 hrs in office, everyday during notice period

Your Account mgmt likely have asked your local HR to do so.
It is kind of pressure technique from your Account mgmt.
Implications may be impact on appraisal, impact on any due promotion.

Try to work for 9 hours per week, in office, for one month.
Then in in next month, try working at least for 9 hours for 3 days a week , in the office.
Then from third month , work for full 9 hours for at least 2 days in a week and remaining 3 days , at least work in office for 4 hours. Hopefully with similar approch, you may be off the Local HR watchlist πŸ™‚

If you can find better job , then nothing like it. πŸ™‚

Got authetic information , that anything lesser than 3 hours is concern. Something is cooking for next year....

Many of the people still don't have a place to sit. How can they maintain 9 hrs
