Trending @HCL; HR IS FORCING TO RESIGN.
Hi I am on bench in hcl and looking for internal and external job .
WPC team assign me a project for Hyderabad location without any discussion my base location is noida and WPC is saying you need to join that project i denying the request and said iam only open to work in noida and Lucknow then project team escalated the issue with HR.
HR is saying either you have to join that project or resign from the organisation .
Please suggest what we need to do or any opportunity is available in noida and Lucknow please let me know.

As per my understanding,while joining the organisation you sign a document, which says you will work from any location ...
As I can see , you are from the E1 band so it is easier for HR to take these steps...
Take this position in Hyderabad, get some average to low price PG in the kondapur area ...
Upskill yourself / start looking for new positions in Hyderabad , your professional growth will be better there..
Man if I knew HCL is like this I never would have joined I thought its good organization just like others what a mess this is. I suggest you to look out for other companies cause anyways you have prepared.
Hcl is the worst company to work for, people are not getting hikes from the past 3 years and even 1 or 2 % hikes, they will throw your profile to any worst location stating that you accepted the location. Try to leave the organization or fight with them stating that I am looking for specific locations only. Hcl will try all aspects to cheat the employees. False company it is. They will force you to learn new techs and work like a senior slave person.
I suggest to take the opportunity and discuss with PM if you can work from your base location only. Project location will not be same as your base location but resources can be from all over India. It all depends on the type of project so it is important to discuss with the PM before you reject the opportunity.
It's banking project I have to work in secured zone from Hyderabad only.
