Not involved in one. But my 2cents to people who are in one or consider getting into one would be , if you wish "swara bhaskar-ization " of your future kids. DON'T.

Was once in a relationship with a muslim girl almost perfect for 11yrs(from school),my parents agreed and her parents would've agreed too if she tried. But we brokeup.

One of my male Muslim colleague married a Hindu girl colleague. Both of their families opposed bitterly.
The couple quietly moved to US and somehow both had meteoric rise in career, maybe that extra motivation of taking huge risk kicked in.
From recent FB pics i can say now the girls parents have accepted him as the girl has posted his parents and husband pic of having great time visiting Yellowstone national park. Guess overseas dollars 💵 smoothened out the centuries old friction between H and M 🤪 in there case. LOL.

Those who defend or debate caste system are almost always upper caste

Parents who tell their kids to marry within caste boundaries fail to understand how they are propogating a broken and harmful tradition/practice , or they don't care.

Those who benefit from a system will never want it to be dismantled.
