How's your company onboarding (Laptop, welcome goodies, newcomer experience)

Hi all,

So I have been part of a startup as soon as I graduated and the process of getting things done were though HRs and team leads, like for laptop, u have to go to IT dept in office and raise a request with your employee id, then u will get a mail after some days. No welcome goodies, but good quarterly appraisals and appreciation certificates, and newcomer experience was good because of constant interaction.

Then the startup got acquired by Accenture, decent welcome goodies, No appraisals, rare appreciations, laptop assignment automatically done and shipped. Good newcomer experience as there were several onboarding sessions.

Then I switched to TCS, for laptop u have to email and wait for more than a month and then follow up to get it. No welcome goodies, newcomer experience? None, u r treated like u should have known everything about TCS already. Worst part? No teams no outlook... It is the basic necessity but well, in TCS the only thing is u should get allocated to some client and get their vdi, which has teams and outlook.

The cost saving is on another level.

Can u all just mention your company name and quick experience so that the new job seekers can apply to your companies
